Reformer pilates is a 55-minute group class on the reformer, with a maximum of eight participants per class. In our studios in Amsterdam and Haarlem you train at four levels, from Basic to Advanced and Stretch, always with a teacher who fine-tunes your technique. See our pricing or read how to get started with pilates.
The reformer is the device on which these lessons run. A moving bed, the carriage, that provides resistance via springs. You push, pull and move in a controlled manner, while the springs support or challenge your movement.
Never used a reformer before? Start with Basic Repertoire, where you can get to know the machine at a easy pace.

Basic Repertoire brings you back to the fundamentals. You work on technique, control and the core principles of Pilates. It’s ideal for beginners and also for anyone training at higher levels, because a strong foundation strengthens everything that follows. If you are unsure about your level, start here.

In Intermediate, you put the basics to work. Exercises gain variations and flow more into one another, with less explanation in between. The Intermediate Repertoire class is for people who have a solid grasp of the basics and are ready for more challenge.
The Advanced Repertoire class is intended for experienced participants who have been practicing Pilates for a longer time and have good control of their technique.
More space and flexibility on the reformer. This class focuses on controlled stretching, mobility, and recovery.

Your teacher will observe you during the first lesson and advise you when you are ready for the next step.
